1. Who we are

LabelCraft (labelcraft.org) is a multi-tenant audio and text annotation platform operated by “CREA7IVEAI” MChJ (LLC), TIN 312183067, a company registered in the Republic of Uzbekistan (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use LabelCraft and how we handle it.

2. Data we collect

• Account information — name, email address, role, and organization membership, provided when you sign up or when an account is created for you.
• Customer content — audio and text files uploaded by you or your organization, and the annotations, transcriptions, and review comments created on the platform.
• Usage logs — activity records such as sign-ins, annotation actions, and administrative changes, kept for security auditing and troubleshooting.

3. How we use data

• To provide, operate, and maintain the annotation service.
• To provide AI-assisted transcription: when a customer enables this feature, the relevant audio is processed via third-party AI model APIs (the provider depends on the AI option the customer selects) solely to generate a transcription draft returned to the customer.
• To secure the platform, investigate abuse, and support customers.

We do not sell personal data or customer content, and we do not use customer audio or annotations for advertising.

4. Storage and security

Customer content is stored on infrastructure provided by reputable cloud hosting providers. Audio files are kept in object storage in the European Union; the application database, which holds accounts, text items, annotations and transcriptions, and our backups are hosted in the United States. Organizations’ files share one storage bucket, each under its own organization’s path. Access to the platform is protected by role-based permissions and authenticated sessions.

5. Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to run the service: httpOnly cookies that hold your session tokens (JWT) and, while you sign in with an external account, short-lived sign-in state; a security token that protects your requests against cross-site request forgery; and functional cookies that remember your language, whether the sidebar is collapsed, and the workspace you are switching to. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain account data and customer content for as long as the customer’s account is active. Customers can delete their projects and audio files from within the platform. You may request deletion of your account or your organization’s data by contacting us; we will delete it within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal or security reasons.

7. Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run LabelCraft (cloud hosting and infrastructure providers; Polar, our payment provider, for paid plans; and, when enabled by the customer, third-party AI transcription APIs), or when required by law. We never sell data to third parties.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated effective date.
