Reporting a problem
Show the team what went wrong in under a minute: snip the part of the screen, mark it, add a line and send. Private details are hidden before the picture is even taken.

Where to find it
Look for the bug icon next to the bell, labelled Report a problem. It is:
- in the header of every page in the app;
- in the studio, where you annotate;
- on the sign-in, sign-up and password-reset pages, for a problem that stops you getting in.
The landing page has no bug icon; write to the team from the contact page there.
Take a snip
It works like the Snipping Tool you open with Windows + Shift + S:
- Click the bug icon. The screen freezes exactly as it is, scrolled lists included.
- Drag across the part that shows the problem. The size of the area is shown as you drag.
- Let go and the area opens in the report. To send the whole window, press Full screen or Enter.
- To leave without a report, press Cancel or Esc. A click without a drag does nothing, so a stray click is harmless.
Mark it
The snip opens under one toolbar:
- Pen: draw freehand in red.
- Highlighter: a broad yellow stroke you can see through.
- Box: a red frame around something.
- Hide: a solid black block over anything you would rather not share.
- Crop: drag over the part to keep. The marks you made stay on it.
- Undo and Clear all marks: take back the last mark, or all of them.
- New snip: back to the frozen screen to pick another area. Esc brings back the snip you had.
- Remove screenshot: send the report without a picture.
What is hidden for you
Before the picture is taken, LabelCraft hides:
- anything typed into a field, such as a search or a half-filled form;
- email addresses;
- phone numbers written with a country code (+998 …);
- card numbers;
- long keys and tokens;
- the two-factor QR code, its setup key and your recovery codes.
Each hidden character becomes a dot and nothing on the page moves, so the picture still shows where the problem is. Names, dates, times and ids stay: the team needs them to find the problem.
What happens when you send
Write what went wrong under What went wrong? (required, up to 2,000 characters) and press Send report. If you are not signed in, you can leave your email so the team can answer.
The report goes by email to the LabelCraft platform team with your picture, the page you were on, your window size, your browser and the app version. Their reply comes to your email.
Reports are not kept in LabelCraft, and no one in your workspace sees them.
Limits
- Up to 10 reports an hour from one account.
- Up to 5 reports an hour from one network while signed out.
- If the screen cannot be captured (an old browser, or an image from another site on the page), the report still goes, without a picture.
