What is LabelCraft?
LabelCraft is an audio annotation platform. Teams upload audio, annotators segment and transcribe it (with AI pre-transcription to speed things up), reviewers and managers check the work in a structured pipeline, and a quality engine tracks quality and penalties consistently for everyone. Accepted files export as clean, versioned training data.
Every organization is fully isolated: its own users, projects, storage, and settings. Inside an organization, five roles share one pipeline — each sees exactly the tools their job needs.
How a file becomes training data
Files can also be skipped (returned to the pool with a reason) or reverted backwards for rework — a reverted file goes straight back to the person who worked on it, ahead of any new work.
Three stages, three roles: the annotator creates segments and text, the reviewer checks and corrects, the manager gives final acceptance. Exports always use the latest accepted version, with any admin-approved segment corrections layered on top.
The five roles
- Annotator — segments audio and writes transcriptions in the studio. Sees only their own projects and work.
- Reviewer — checks submitted annotations: approves, edits, or sends files back for rework.
- Manager — final quality gate: accepts files, resolves disputes, oversees team analytics.
- Admin — runs the organization: users, projects, configuration, API keys, exports. Admins configure and arbitrate — they don't annotate or review.
- Superadmin — platform operator only: manages organizations and backups, and cannot enter organization projects or the studio.
